Sheridan grew up in Grahamstown and is proud to call Kingswood College his alma mater.

After graduating with a medical degree from the University of Stellenbosch in 2006, he completed his internship and community service in East London. Sheridan quickly climbed the ranks in the Surgical Department at Frere and was soon a much loved and dearly appreciated member of the team.

Shortly after his wedding, Sheridan was accepted into the registrar programme at Tygerberg Hospital.

5 years, 2 degrees and 2 children later, Sheridan moved back to East London and returned to Frere Hospital, this time as a Consultant in the general surgery department. Thereafter, Sheridan joined the St Lukes's road practice in March 2017.

He has special interests in laparoscopic and hernia Surgery. Following his motto, “continuously learning”, means he is constantly finding the best way to improve the care he provides his patients. Sheridan manages a local journal club that includes both private and state surgeons, and in this way, he has remained involved in training.

His wife Neesha and children Dhruv, Dhevan and Aarya bring him such joy. He spends as much time as possible with them in the garden, in the pool, at the beach or on the bike track.
